CASE FILE / FAQ

FAQ / Answered.

The practical questions, answered plainly. The operating method remains private.

01What does The Cold Bureau actually do?

You provide the names. We make the calls. We get to the answer.

When a prospect acknowledges a relevant problem you can solve and there is a reason to continue, we hand the conversation to you.

02Do you book meetings?

Yes—but we do not book meetings simply because someone agreed to one.

A conversation advances only when there is a relevant problem and a reason to speak.

03How is The Bureau different from an appointment-setting agency?

We do not measure success by how many appointments we can put on your calendar.

Every assignment is executed using our proprietary cold-calling method, designed to separate genuine opportunities from polite conversations.

04What is The Bureau Method?

The proprietary calling method used on every Bureau assignment.

The words are deliberate. The sequence is deliberate. Even the decision to end a call is deliberate.

The method is not public.

05Do I get to approve the script?

We agree on the audience, problem, offer and handoff before calling begins.

The calling method itself stays with The Bureau.

06Who provides the prospect list?

You do.

You provide the named prospects you want called and, wherever possible, direct telephone numbers. You are responsible for ensuring the data is accurate and current.

07What happens if someone does not answer?

We make up to three legitimate attempts across three separate calling days.

Once the named prospect is reached, the attempt cycle ends.

08Do you follow up with prospects?

Not by default.

The Bureau is built to get to an answer—not create an endless sequence of “just checking in” messages.

We do not follow up simply to keep an opportunity alive.

09Do you guarantee meetings?

No.

We do not manufacture meetings to hit a quota. We work the agreed list and advance conversations that have earned the right to continue.

10How much does an assignment cost?

Assignments are priced by the number of prospects to be worked—not by the hour or number of meetings booked.

The scope and price are agreed before an assignment begins.

11What happens before you accept an assignment?

We determine whether there is a real problem worth calling about, who we should be calling and what would constitute a worthwhile next conversation.

If there is not enough there, we do not take the assignment.

12Can any company hire The Bureau?

No.

We only take assignments where we believe there is a credible audience, a relevant problem and a legitimate reason to make the call.

13What happens next?

Request a Bureau Assessment.

If there is enough there to investigate, we will invite you to a short Pressure Test. If the problem survives that, we will determine whether it can become a Bureau assignment.
